How do you fill an afternoon with short people when it is 100+ degrees outside, one of your children (Kate) has a cold, and you have a raging headache? FINGER PAINT, of course! I have also found that it is never to early to begin preparing the girls for future careers. Today India practiced her flair for fashion design...check out the footwear.

Perhaps not. Maybe the heat is getting to us. Time to get out of the house? Oh, yeah.

Thank goodness you are coming on Friday; you are the light at the end of my tunnel.

Everytime I see new pictures of the girls on the blog, I am stunned. They are getting so big!!! Pretty soon they'll be old enough that you can ship them up to Auntie & Uncie D's for a long weekend.

Be careful what you wish for, Derek. Did you see their hands during finger painting? Imagine THAT all over your beautiful, new, freshly painted home. HA!

That is Rody...it's the toddler precursor to those bouncy ball things with the triangular handles. Do you remember those? You sit on them and hop. Santa brought that last year.

I haven't been brave enough to try fingerpainting at home with Ella or play-doh. They still think play-doh is where you guess the color and bring it to mom and if you open it, it is only to feel it and put the lid right back on. I am sticking with dancing until we pass out.
